Graduate high school? lol That was like 5 years ago for me. Now I'm all a college grad and stuff. Crazy talk.

hs grad....was like 27 years ago...college was 23....yeah gonna have that 25th year college reunion soon enough...

oy what no rain today??? my deck is now very green in spots---but my herbs are growing like weeds!!

High school, over here we have "school" and that's it, no pre, high or anything school

Ya, we like to be compartmentalized I guess and make our kids feel like successes by giving them 3+ graduations. Oh well.

well it makes some kind of sense since you usually change school at those times here (primary or grade school, middle or junior high, and high school....) they have 3 in japan as well....and getting into a good hs there is BIG stuff!

ah sushi...good stuff too. now if I could just get my sleep track back on line (tired of only being able to sleep 1-2 hours a night and being wide awake at 5am after said 'sleep')....but I seem to be in that part of this cycle--hope it fixes itself soon (I like sleeping at 5am really I do).

Except in the district I'm working in.

They stay in the same school and just go to a new wing. It's true. It is a K-12 building. Crazy stuff.

That's so weird to me.

The old school district I was in, the high school's population was so large that they took the middle school across the street from it and turned it into a freshman center.

yeah the hs I was SUPPOSED to have gone to have well over 2000 kids--and yeah a whole freshman building (I visited one of my friends there when I was in hs--and couldnt figure my way around they place was HUGE!)...my puny hs had about 500 people including staff on a good day----(we had 3 halls A, B and C...with C being the art wing--with the shop, band room and such...I believe the band room was the last room and it was number 27--with the numbering system being a1-12, b13-20 and c21-27 or something close to that).

sorry pwnd we all cant live in the middle of nowhere and have a one building school for the whole town

Sounds familiar! The HS I would have gone to had 4000 students. My middle school was the smallest in the district and had about 900.

The HS I did go to (moved just before starting high school) had about 1100 students; my HS graduation class was the same size as my 8th grade class.

Ya my HS that I attended was 1500, this high school is like 450 students.

I think there is maybe 1500 in the whole district. Small school ftw!

my hs grad class was 141...and we ALL graduated (first time in quite some time)...and not a month later one of the kids wrapped his car around a car--thus the first funeral for my grad class as well....then there were 140.

I think there were around 300 in my high school graduating class 5 years ago. The school has grown since then. Apparently my town was a popular place for people to move too. >>
